Brokers with Micro Lots

Compare Forex and CFD brokers in South Africa that allow you to trade micro lots. These are well suited for beginners or those with small deposits.

Understanding Forex trading sizes and terminology can be a challenge. That's why we've compiled commonly used phrases below.

The standard Forex trading size is 100,000 units of your funding currency. This means $100,000 if your account is in dollars. However, some brokers allow you to trade smaller sizes from 10,000 to 1,000 and even 1 unit.

  • Standard lot: 1 lot = 100,000 currency units.
  • Mini lot: 0.1 lots = 10,000 currency units.
  • Micro lot: 0.01 lots = 1,000 currency units.
  • Fractional lots: refers to smaller trades.
