Market Execution Forex Brokers
Compare Forex brokers and trading platforms that provide market execution. Use the search filters on this page to find an account that matches your experience and preferences.
Forex trading accounts come with either instant or market execution. Understand why this matters and what is best for you.
- Certainty of execution: with market execution, your orders are executed at the then prevailing market price, without re-quotes. This can give rise to slippage if the market has moved against you. However, it can also give rise to what is known as price improvements, if prices have moved in your favour.
- Market driven prices: accounts with market execution are associated with either STP brokers (Straight Through Processing) or ECN brokers (Electronic Communications Network). Because STP and ECN brokers aggregate market prices from multiple liquidity providers who compete for your orders, they typically provide lower and more competitive spreads than traditional brokers.
- Fewer restrictions: STP and ECN brokers typically place fewer restrictions on trades than traditional brokers. For this reason, we suggest you open an account with market execution if you have an interest in automated trading (through Expert Advisors for example), scalping or news trading.
